Français : Cette maison a été construite en 1841 dans la rue de l'Hôtel de Ville, devenue rue de Virton puis rue des Martyrs, à Arlon en Belgique. À la mort de son dernier propriétaire, Charles Gaspar, en 1950, elle est léguée à la Ville d'Arlon, qui la transformera en musée à la demande de son donateur.
English: This house was built in 1841 in the rue de l'Hôtel de Ville, which became the rue de Virton and then the rue des Martyrs, in Arlon, Belgium. On the death of its last owner, Charles Gaspar, in 1950, it was bequeathed to the town of Arlon, which converted it into a museum at its donor's request. |
