English: The Moroccan-American Treaty of Peace and Friendship, sealed by Mohammed III, signed by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, and ratified by U.S. Congress on July 18, 1787.

الحمد لله هذا تقييد شروط الصلح التي جعلناها مع الماركانوس وأثبتناها في هذا الدفتر ووضعنا عليها طابعنا لتبقى مستمرة إن شاء الله وكتبت بحضرة مراكش في الخامسة والعشرين من شعبان المبارك عام مائتين وألف.
Praise the Lord—this is an agreement of the terms of partnership that we have made with the Americans ("the Mericanus") and affirmed in this document. We have placed upon it our seal such that it may last, God willing. Written in the city of Marrakesh, on the 25th of the blessed month of Sha'baan, year 1,200 (Hijri calendar).
