English: Moos Homestead. Moos Homestead, 1850 Built near Leon Creek headwaters by immigrant John Moos and bride Rosina, of field stone, mortared with caliche, design typical of pioneer Texas Germans. Used as relay station for stagecoaches, San Antonio to El Paso and California. #3466
