Description
English: Field Marshal Viscount Montgomery, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, inspects a guard of honour of the 1st Bn, the Royal Rhodesia Regiment on his arrival at Belvedere Airport near Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia in December 1947. Brigadier Storr Garlake, the commander of Southern Rhodesia's armed forces, is behind Montgomery.
