English: Mona Mill Having bemoaned this mill's demolition, I suddenly found a couple of shots. You can see that part of the mill to the left of the tower had already been demolished. It also seems that there's no chimney.
Built 1905, architect F W Dixon, 90,456 spindles, George Saxon 1400 hp engine. Production ceased 1959 then in multi-occupancy. Site is now a housing estate. |
