Summary

Description Front end of Metropolitan Cammell 8-car "Blue Pullman" dmu (for working “The Bristol Pullman” and "The South Wales Pullman") Type 1 1,000hp power car No.W60097 leading, in Nanking Blue & White Pullman livery at the Open Day at Old Oak Common depot, 07/67. Note elongated Pullman crest on nose - and no yellow warning panel. Also note the air horns below the buffer beam and the lack of jumper cables. It could be said that the concept of the Blue Pullmans was a precursor of the HST's. Scanned photograph taken with a Kowa SET.
