Description
English: This image is of Mesa Montosa, near Coyote, New Mexico, seen from the east. The photograph shows the stratigraphy of the mesa, which from base to top are red beds of the Cutler Group; white beds of the Shinarump Formation; brown beds of the Salitral Formation; and a cap of brown sandstone of the Poleo Formation.
