Description
English: Mecca Bingo, Stockton-on-Tees, 1982

This is the old Mecca Bingo Hall, formerly the Globe Theatre. It was built in this form in 1935, and as well as memorable pantomimes, many top stars performed here. The Beatles played here twice, the first time on 22 November 1963 – the day President Kennedy was assassinated.
