| Description |
English: Mayfair Court, Clifftown Gardens, Herne Bay, Kent, England; built in 1934–35 for Lydia Cecilia Hill, a favourite of Ibrahim, Sultan of Johore. The architect is unknown, but extension work was carried out by John Howell and Son in her lifetime. This architect has not been traced. It was apparently not John Howell and Son of Hastings; the last partner of which company died in 1903. |
