Description The motherboard for the Mattel HyperScan, a video game console released in 2006. The HyperScan is based off a Sunplus SPG290 system-on-a-chip. A low-cost ($69.99 at launch) and low-powered system, this console was aimed more at the toy market than as an actual video game system. The main feature of the console was its use of RFID collectible cards that allowed for extra characters and abilities in its games. Few games were sold, and the system was discontinued by Mattel within a year.
