English: Ex-GWR 'Hall' 4-6-0 under restoration at Matlock, Peak Rail.
Having been recovered from Woodham's Scrapyard at Barry in 1981, Collett 4-6-0 No. 4936 'Kinlet Hall' is seen here in 1983 under restoration at the then embryonic Peak Rail Society establishment at Matlock, just west of Matlock BR station on the Derby - Manchester Peak Main line (closed beyond Matlock in 3/67). No. 4936 was built at Swindon in 6/29 and withdrawn by BR in 1/64. It was moved from Matlock in 1985 and has been operated since then from various heritage centres: it is currently at Tyseley Locomotive Works, having undergone a major overhaul.
