Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	I have been searching for an image of Mary Buckland, and to date, this is the only image (other than her silhouette) in any publication I have located.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	This is the only known portrait of an early woman geo-scientist, not well known outside the community of historians of geology and women in science.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The book is out of print. The image is only one part of one Plate. I have not been able to locate the author himself, who is listed as copyright owner. The photo is reported to be "in the possession of Mrs. Phyllis Cursham" whom I cannot locate.
Other information	The subject of the photograph has been deceased since: 1857 Plate V is opposite p. 68 in the book, the image of Mary Buckland is to the lower right (or three images). Full caption relevant to her image: "Mary Buckland, from an original photograph in the possession of Mrs. Phyllis Cursham."
