Deutsch: Die Marchdammkapelle in Markthof, eine Ortschaft in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Engelhartstetten. Die Gedächtniskapelle wurde nach Plänen der Architekten Max Hegele und August Rehak anlässlich der Vollendung des Hubertus- bzw. Marchdammes, der eine Bauzeit von 40 Jahren hatte, auf diesem errichtet. Bei der Eröffnung des Dammbauwerkes und der Kapelle am 10. Juni 1905 sprachen neben Kaiser Franz Joseph I. Weihbischof Godfried Marschall sowie Erich von Kielmansegg als Statthalter von Niederösterreich. |
