| Description |
English: Manchester Central station 1980 Disused as a station since 1968 and serving as a car park by 1980, few would have predicted the old station's rapid renaissance in the 1980s. The timber frontage was intended to be temporary when built along with the station: it lasted until the redevelopment. |
