English: This Temple of ‘Madan Mohan’ was built in AD 1694 by the Malla King Durjan Singh in Vishnupur, West Bengal in India. It is the best example of a single ‘Sikhara’ on a curved Bengal Chala roof. The exterior walls of the temple are fully covered with exquisite ‘Terrakota’ panels which reminds us the quality of the craftsmen of those era.
