Deutsch: Sechsbogige Luitpold-Brücke über die Nahe in Oberhausen an der Nahe aus Sandsteinquadern, Baumeister Bezirksbauschaffner N. Emrich, Kirchheimbolanden. 1889, drei Jahre nach Herrschaftsantritt, ließ der ab 1886 bayrische Prinzregent Luitpold (1821-1912) die historische Sandsteinbrücke erbauen, um den Winzern mit ihren Trauben und Weinen den Weg zu den Handelshäusern in Bad Kreuznach zu erleichtern. Die Nahe, über die die Luitpoldbrücke führt, war nach dem Wiener Kongreß zeitweise Grenzfluß und trennte das Königreich Bayern (genauer die Bayerische Pfalz - auch genannt: Kurpfalz) von Preußen und ist heute das Wahrzeichen des Ortes. |
