English: Ex-Great Central Robinson Atlantic at Lincoln Locomotive Depot.
View southward, beside the lines west of Lincoln Central station. These C4 4-4-2's were the most handsome locomotives, nicknamed 'Jersey Lilies' after the celebrated Lillie Langtry, but by 1947 they had had their day, being relegated to secondary duties in the Lincolnshire flat-lands. Here No. 2903 is at the ex-Great Northern Depot, the Great Central Depot having ceased to be active since 1939.
