Summary

Description
English: View from the Thames of the entrance of the Limehouse Dock of the Regent's Canal. In foreground a barge laden with boxes and barrels; masts visible beyond entrance. A timber structure has been built to resist the slanting tide which makes it hard for ships to dock or undock at high water.
