Description Lieutenant Roy Balfour Hodgson Rayner of 15th West Yorkshire Regiment died of shrapnel wounds in 1916. He was wounded at the Somme while trying to rescue members of a wiring party. He is buried at Geazincourt Communal Cemetery Extension at the Somme, and recorded on Horsforth Cenotaph, England, and on his family's memorial at Harlow Hill Cemetery, Harrogate, England.
