English: Liao dynasty dharani pillar with Chinese inscription dated 28th day of the 6th month of the 1st year of the Da'an era of the Liao dynasty (大安元年六月二十八日) corresponding to 22 July 1085 (wrapped in paper with rubbing of the text). Found on the east slope of the hill of the Southern Pagoda at Lindong, Bairin Left Banner, Inner Mongolia. Held at the Liao Shangjing Museum. Museum card gives the date as "Da'an 6" 大安六年 (1090), but actual date on the pillar is "Da'an 1" 大安元年 (1085); probably "六" (six") is a copy mistake for "元" (first).
