DescriptionLangdon Hole near Dover - geograph.org.uk - 1520855.jpg
English: Langdon Hole near Dover Looking eastwards from the coastal path across the hollow known as Langdon Hole above Langdon Bay. A zig zag path cut into the chalk descends the nearest part of the chalk cliff seen here and then down a ladder to the beach. At low tide the wreck of the German sailing ship Preussen can be visited. It was built in 1902 and at the time she was wrecked in 1910 was the largest five masted sailing ship in the world.
