English: Kazerne Dossin Memorial, Museum and Documentation Centre, former Mechelen transit camp, Belgium. It served as a point to gather Belgian Jews and Romani ahead of their deportation to concentration and extermination camps in Eastern Europe during the Holocaust. 25,274 Jews and 354 Romanis were rounded up and transported to the camps, two-thirds were killed upon arrival, only 1,395 of them had survived.
