English: Black and white reproduction of "miniature" painting of an apparently young Jefferson Davis in an oval frame.
According to Haskell Monroe Collection Website page at the University of Missouri, which copied the picture from Rowland's (1923) Jefferson Davis, Constitutionalist. According to Rowland, Davis was 32 in this picture, which puts it at 1840.
