UNFORTUNATELY I CAN LOCATE NO HISTORY AS TO THE HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS HOUSE EXCEPT THAT VAN SYCKLE'S ARE VERY OLD SETTLERS OF THIS PORTION OF HUNTERDON COUNTY. THIS HOUSE IS WELL SIGN POSTED AS 195 RUMMEL ROAD BUT IT IS NOT VISIBLE FROM RUMMEL ROAD. ALSO SOMEWHAT PUZZLING IS THAT NR REFERENCE NUMBER IS 10000814 BUT THE DATE LISTED IS APRIL 2, 2012 SO ACCORDING TO ALL PAST EXAMPLES THE NUMBER SHOULD BE 120000814
