English: An advertisement for the J. K. Gill Company in Portland, Oregon, showing the store at SW Third and Alder. The store was located in a former Masonic Temple, and within ten years of this image the store moved to SW Fifth and Stark, and the building was demolished. On this site the Loyalty Building was later constructed in 1928. Two doors down from the store is the Dekum Building at the corner of SW Third and Washington. The Dekum Building was constructed by Frank Dekum, father-in-law of Joseph K. Gill.
