Description
English: Engraving of the magazine La Ilustración Ibérica, titled "To paint like to love: Presumed aspect of the walls of Cartagena when the city capitulated in 1874", but that unmistakably shows in fact the hoisting of the red flag of the Canton in the castle of Galeras on July 12, 1873, day that the insurrection in Cartagena broke out.
Español: Grabado de la revista La Ilustración Ibérica, titulado «El pintar como el querer: Supuesto aspecto de las murallas de Cartagena al capitular la plaza en 1874», pero que inequívocamente muestra en realidad el izado de la bandera roja del Cantón en el castillo de Galeras el 12 de julio de 1873, día que estalló la insurrección en Cartagena.
