English: Illustrations of Ming dynasty bows. The left-most three bows are from Wu Bei Yao Lue (author: Cheng Ziyi). The right-most three bows are from Wu Bei Zhi (author: Mao Yuanyi). From left-to-right: general-purpose bow (通用弓), big-siyah bow (大弰弓), Taiping Village bow (太平寨弓), Xifan wooden bow (西番木弓), small-siyah bow (小稍弓), and Kaiyuan bow (开元弓).
