Summary

Description
English: Holy Angels, Hoar Cross By George Frederick Bodley, 1872-76 in Decorated and Perpendicular Gothic style. It is a very lavishly decorated church, both inside and out. Pevsner wrote: "at Hoar Cross [Bodley] intended to show what perfection was obtainable within the rubrics of English late medieval decoration and architecture." Grade I listed.
