Description
English: Hilye by Hafiz Osman from Sadberk Hanim Museum, c. 1670. Description of Muhammad in naskh. Basmala in rayhani. Verse from the surah Al-Anbiya (21:107) near the bottom in jali thuluth. The decoration in the areas without text from the early twentieth century. 51 x 41 cm, writing field 31.2 x 20.5 cm. Sized cream coloured paper, ink, gold, paints of various collors.
