English: Aerial view of the Observatory Science Centre on the Herstmonceux castle grounds (East Sussex, England). Currently a science exhibit, this site was home to the Royal Greenwich Observatory from 1948 until 1990. Nikon D60 f=200mm f/6.3 at 1/2500s ISO 800. Processed using Nikon ViewNX 1.5.2 and GIMP 2.6.6.
Nederlands: Luchtopname van het Observatory Science Centre (volkssterrenwacht) op het kasteeldomein van Herstmonceux in East Sussex (Engeland). Momenteel doet men er aan wetenschapspopularisatie, maar van 1948 tot 1990 was dit de zetel van de Koninklijke Sterrenwacht van Greenwich. Nikon D60 f=200mm f/6.3 bij 1/2500s ISO 800. Bewerkt in Nikon ViewNX 1.5.2 en GIMP 2.6.6. |
