Summary
[edit]Visscher, N. / Anonymous. ‘ORBIS TERRARUM TYPUS DE INTEGRO IN PLURIMIS EMENDATUS, AUCTUS, ET ICUNCULIS ILLUSTRATUS’. Anonymous double hemisphere world map based on Visscher’s earlier Bible map of 1657, with the addition of the New Zealand coastline. Two celestial spheres in the lower eastern hemisphere, two circular diagrams, in the corners the four continents in allegorical form. Anonymous, but after Nicolaas Visscher ca. 1680
I am also submitting another photo so it will compare the two different maps and their expansion.
