Summary
[edit]Description |
Many of the RCAF's civilian Ground Observer Corps volunteers tackled their operations with particular enthusiasm, such as building this tower. Feeling the constant spectre of nuclear war dangling over their heads, their activities in the country's air defence gave them the sense that they were helping in their own safety and security. |
