Summary
[edit]This is a 1916 image illustrating page 4 of 5 of the piano accompanied song, Meet Me in the Land of Grapico. The image is from the Special Collections Department at the Mississippi State University Libraries. The song is by American jazz composers Peter DeRose and Ivan Reid and was commissioned and published by J. Grossman's Sons to promote their New Orleans, Louisiana originating Grapico soft drink. Copies of the sheet music were sent free to customers who requested a copy.
