Summary

Description
English: action of the Glutamine oxoglutarate aminotransferase (GOGAT) and the Glutamine synthetase (GS) in order to recylce the NH4+ and the 2-oxoglutarate (1) into glutamate (3). This is a necessary step of the photorespiration.
Deutsch: Die von der Glutaminoxoglutarat-Aminotransferase (GOGAT) und der Glutamin-Synthetase (GS) katalysierten Reaktionen. Dabei wird das bei der photorespiration anfallende a-Ketoglutarat (1) und NH4+ zu Glutamat (3) recycelt.
