Summary
[edit]Description |
Antoine-Félix Bouré's lion atop the Gileppe Dam, the colossal proportions of which are suggested by the relative size of the human figures. The lion was created in the 1870s. When the dam was heightened in the 1960s, the lion was disassembled and had to be rebuilt. This photo from the first decade of the 20th century (if not earlier) shows the lion in its original condition. |

However, the date of creation of the work was over 120 years ago, and it is thus a reasonable assumption that the copyright has expired (see here for the community discussion). Do not use this template if the date of death of the author is known. | ||||
