Object history According to written notes of P. Lauck, dated September 1970 (based on information furnished by M. Zahn of Chas. Sessler, Philadelphia, Walnut Street. Sept. 22, 1953): painted Pont Avon, 1890; collection Ambroise Vollard in Paris, then Dr. Sebraud in Paris; (according to Miss Zahn of Sessler Gallery, who spoke to Miss Kraushaar) Jacques Dubourg, dealer; purchased by Kraushaar Gallery, New York; purchased by Leneold [sic] Sessler, Philadelphia; sold to G. M. Lauck, January 3, 1947.
