English: Four Druines flying at the SBAC show at Farnborough, 8 September 1962. The "all British" rule had been recently relaxed to allow foreign aircraft with British engines to attend. All are D.31 Turbulents: G-ARRZ (red), G-ARCZ (white, leader), G-APYZ (white) and G-ARHZ (blue).
The BLUE aircraft in the image appears to be G-ARNZ a Turbulent the same as the other 3 aircraft.
G-ARHZ is a 2 seat Condor D60/62 the first built by Rollasons at Croydon.
It had a Continental C90 4 cyl engine and the cylinders did not protrude outside of the fuselage.
It was always painted RED and flew in the Kings Cup Air Race bearing No.25.
I owned the aircraft for over 4 years and flew it many hours in UK and Continental. FWT
Thanks. TSRL.
