The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issued Law No. 26 of 1961 regarding the national flag of the State of Kuwait so that it is in a horizontal shape, its length equals twice its width and divided into three equal horizontal sections, colored with green tops, white and red. The flag contains a black trapezoid, its major base on the side of the flagpole and equal to the width of the flag, and the smaller base equal to the width of the white color and its height a quarter of the flag’s length…
