English: Fernand Samuel, , known as Samuel the Magnificent, is the pseudonym of Adolphe Amédée Louveau, born 2 July 1862 in Rome and died on 21 December 1914 in Cap-d'Ail at Villa Catiche. He is the lover of the actress Ève Lavallière. Fernand Samuel is the director of Théâtre des Variétés from 1892 to 1914. He is pictured here in his office at the Théâtre des Variétés in 1900.
