Español: Artículo 33° Res. Ex. N° 3282 de fecha 27.03.2014. "El escudo de Gendarmería de Chile estará constituido por una armadura, cuyo fondo será verde alemán con ribete plateado. En su interior y al centro llevará inserto el símbolo institucional, color plateado, sobre él la leyenda “GENDARMERÍA DE CHILE”, y bajo éste el lema “LABOR OMNIA VINCIT IMPROBUS” en letras del mismo color, inserto en una cinta plateada con un ribete más oscuro. Tanto el Torreón Almenado, como el lema institucional, irán enmarcados por dos ramas de encino que nacen a partir de una estrella de cinco puntas ubicada en el centro inferior de la armadura. Las ramas de encino y la estrella serán plateadas.
