English Electric Type 3B, 200 v dc overhead & battery, 35 hp 0-4-0 No.E905 of 1935, "Spondon No.1". The Type 3B was a standard EE type in the 1920's & 30's. It was built for the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Electric Power Company for use at their Spondon Power Staion, Derbs., one of 3 used there. It was withdrawn in 1984 - a long working life.
