Summary

Description
English: Image shows St Elisabeth of Hungary/Thuringia with golden crown, holding a basket of (damask?) roses which is partially covered still by her mantle. Card reads "Ste Elisabeth de Thuringe."
Date
Source Scan I made of a prayer card in my possession. The card was originally German (a steel engraving) and distributed all over Europe in the late 19th century; this particular card is French and commemorates someone's commitment to the BVM.
Author Unknown, but originating from the shop of Franz Schlemm, Nuernberg, Germany
