Description Elingamita johnsonii, the sole species in the genus Elingamita, endemic to the Three Kings Islands, northern New Zealand. To the casual observer, the tree could be mistaken for the Karaka, Corynocarpus laevigatus. However, the bunches of red fleshy fruits are highly distinctive.
