Summary

Description
English: Specimen for the typeface Eldorado, designed by William Addison Dwiggins and originally published by Linotype in 1950. The font used is Font Bureau's Eldorado Text (regular and italic), digitized by David Berlow, Tobias Frere-Jones and Tom Rickner in the 1990s. Two other optical sizes, Display and Micro, are not represented here. The color of the bottom background and the italic sample is based on the cover of the specimen booklet put out by Dwiggins and Linotype upon the typeface's release.
