| Description |
English: Edingham Castle Edingham Castle, near Dalbeattie.
Edingham Castle was built as a 4 storey tower in c1570-85 by the Morrisons. They were succeeded by the Afflecks in the 1660s. In the late 18thC the family converted the building into a 2 storey cottage. It was roofless by 1872 when it was purchased by John Hutinson. The remains measure 8.6 m x 7.2 m. |
