Description

Illustration of early methods of constructing armor mail. From The Historians' History of the World Volume VII page 69. (Disclaimer: This is merely a hypothesized reconstruction. Later historians have not found any evidence some of these type of armor actually existed, e.g. the apparent ring mail in the 4th box.)

This image was created using the open source software tools Autotrace, Paint.NET, GIMP , Scribus, and Inkscape .
