| Purpose of use |
Illustration of his work with this model of GM car. Duntov arrived at GM in 1953 and was instrumental in turning the Corvette into the success it's been since the 1953 introduction of it. This is the only auto model that Chevrolet/GM has continually produced since 1953. He used European racing information and engineering principles to make and keep the auto a winner for GM. He remained involved with the Corvette even after his 1975 retirement from GM. |
