| Description |
The 300mm f/4 lens is my favorite lens. It's been around for a long time and reviews are easy to find. What you won't find is anyone who has anything bad to say about it. One of the sharpest lenses I own. With a 1.4 x I use it for wildlife and fowl. With extension tubes it's great for flowers, bugs and other close up work. Carrying a 300 into the city, at night might not seen like a normal thing to do but here the 300 was used to capture a nice tight view of 2 neon lit buildings from downtown Pittsburgh from over 1/2 mile away. I rarely leave home without it. |
