Description
Nederlands: De rarekiek (door de kunstenaar ' 't Fraay Curieus' genoemd). In een interieur toont een rondtrekkende Savooiaard een kijkkast ten overstaan van een familie met kinderen. In de rarekiek zijn scènes voorgesteld, wellicht uit een ridder- of andere populaire roman. De kamer staat vol huisraad: een spinnewiel, manden met fruit, speelgoedmolentjes, een mand, sloffen en een emmer met een bezem. Tegen de rechterwand staat een rij vaten waarop iemand een bord met vis heeft neergezet. Aan de rechtermuur een schilderij, tegen de achterwand een rek met kruiken. Aan het plafond hangt een vogelkooi.
