Summary

Description The Kishwaukee River in DeKalb, Illinois, United States on August 24, 2007, the river crested in DeKalb at 15.27 feet (all time record 15.8 feet) causing major flooding. See National Weather Service for historical crests. This was only the second time the river rose above 15 feet since the level of the river started being recorded. Image looking toward College Avenue bridge on the southeast side of the Northern Illinois University Art Building.
